The Hive & Co. – Dana Point

Y’all know we love treats around here at MilMomAdventures. Here’s a quick and healthy option just north of Camp Pendleton: The Hive & Co. Located at Salt Creek Beach near the Ritz just off of PCH in Dana Point. This adorable stand for snacks and other treasures is open every day from 11am to 5pm. Check out their fun menu: plenty of nondairy and sugar free popsicle options (lavender lemonade is our favorite!). There are also fresh health juices, perfect to rehydrate after a day at the beach.

The Hive & Co is also a great stop for finding gifts – tons of cute jewelry, turkish towels, and adorable nature-inspired novelties. We purchased the seed “matchsticks” for a family member who loves gardening.

We only recently discovered their ice cream cookie sandiwches, and they are incredible!! Bonus – this dark chocolate ice cream / chocolate chip cookie sandwich is dairy and gluten free! It was so amazing, we didn’t even realize that it was dairy and gluten free until we went to enlarge and edit this photo (true story… and we might be headed back there as soon as this post is up because we’re now drooling just thinking about eating another one).

You’ll very likely spot something you’d like for yourself or a loved one. We are happy to support this shop, which sells a lot of locally sourced crafts.

The Hive & Co. feels like a little secret – it really is the tiniest store we’ve seen! They pack so much great stuff (snacks and goods) into it, and the flavors and items for sale are always changing. There are a few tables with chairs and umbrellas to sit at while you snack. You can park right next to the stand, which is always nice for us since we’ve likely got at least one kid asleep in the car!
